DescriptionThe Department of Transportation is seeking to procure, in accordance with intermediate procurement rule ORS 279B.070, Light Emitting Diode (LED) boards for its existing variable message signs manufactured by Adaptive Micro Systems. Adaptive Micro Systems is the original manufacturer and the only supplier of the replacement parts. They do not have a network of distributors. This letter to the file satisfies ORS 279B.070-(3) requirements for written record of why three informally solicited price quotes are not possible.
