|Issued by:||Port of Portland view agency website|
DescriptionThe Port of Portland (Port) is soliciting proposals from experienced temporary staffing agencies, firms and individuals with the ability to provide Contingent and/or Payrolled Temporary Staffing Services as Required. The successful proposer(s) (Contractor) will provide temporary staff either sourced by the contractor or pre-identified temporary staff by the Port that can be payrolled by the Contractor for jobs that are outside the scope of the Port's Temporary Staffing Agreement for Administrative Support with the Port's Qualified Rehabilitation Facility partners, Galt Foundation and DePaul Industries. Interested parties may submit a proposal for sourcing and payrolling candidates or for payrolling services only. The Port may award a contract to more than one agency, firm or individual. Temporary staff and payrolled staff shall be employees of the Contractor, not employees of the Port. All payroll functions for temporary staff shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Port seeks to enter into a contract with an initial term of three years, with the option to extend the contract for two additional one-year terms. Award of contract is not a guarantee of work.
