Description

The State of Oregon, acting by and through the Department of Transportation, on behalf of its Driver and Motor Vehicle Services Division ("Agency", or "ODOT", or "DMV"), is issuing this Request for Proposal for Class C Non-commercial Third Party Testing Businesses to provide Class C Non-commercial Third Party Drive Testing Services on behalf of DMV. Oregon DMV will approve eligible driver education providers and Commercial Driver Training Schools as Class C Third Party Non-commercial Drive Testing Businesses ("Testing Business"). Approved Testing Businesses are authorized to administer Class C Non-commercial Drive tests on behalf of Oregon DMV. This program offers Oregon drivers an option to take the Class C Non-commercial Drive test through a certified Testing Business instead of through a DMV office. Customers who test through a Testing Business must bring their Certificate of Completion, showing the passing drive test score, to their local DMV office to be issued a Class C non-commercial driver license. A Testing Business is responsible for the operation and oversight of the Testing Business and all its employees. A Testing Business' adherence to Oregon Revised Statute, Oregon Administrative Rule, Business Administration Manual and DMV training is mandatory. Additional details on the Scope of the Goods or Services, or both, are included in the RFP document attached to this notice. Agency would like to have Class C Non-commercial Drive-Testing services available throughout the entire state and anticipates the award of multiple Contracts from this RFP.
