This rebid modifies the Performance and Payment Bond requirements in C.21.3 of the Invitation to Bid. The purpose of this ITB is to establish a Contract to design, construct and install two new modular housing units to be used as employee housing at ODOT Maintenance Stations. Project also includes related site improvements (site built garages and other related items) as described in the specifications. Modular housing may be "custom" or from manufacturer's standard floor plans meeting the requirements of these specifications. Area of each house will be 1,500 square foot minimum and is not expected to exceed 1,600 square foot. The modular housing design will be an esthetically pleasing architectural style while avoiding the appearance of excessive cost. Construction shall utilize highly durable materials and components that require minimal maintenance. Contractor will determine which project components are to be self-performed and which will be completed by modular housing manufacturer.
