DescriptionPRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: There will not be a pre-proposal conference for this event. Attendance is: N/A INTRODUCTION Multnomah County Animal Services include comprehensive medical treatment and a fully functional surgical suite to help care for the approximate 6,000 animals we serve each year. To this end, the veterinary team performs an average of 2,500 surgical procedures, 6,500 health examinations, and 7,000 injury/illness treatment procedures each year. We are very proud of the fact that we provide these services while adhering to the highest standards of veterinary care and are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). SCOPE OF WORK Upgrade current equipment, MinXRay HF100 Full Bridge Inverter System with a Versa-View exam table from Diagnostic Imaging System, from film to digital. We just have one current x-ray exam setup so this upgrade needs to be completed quickly as to not disrupt daily use. Specifications for new equipment: Minimum Image resolution 3520 x 4280 (14â x 17â) Image acquisition in under 60 seconds Include all hardware and software to capture, process, and view images with free upgrades and preferred no annual agreement Warranty of at least 1 year on all parts, shipping, and labor 2 day or less installation and staff training **Note, Any electrical, network, or building modifications will be made by Multnomah County Facilities. If you need any special requirements for your equipment please note this in the price quote. Example of this could be network port, access to wireless network, dedicated power, etc. Current Multnomah County IT Specifications are attached under Attachment 3 METHOD OF AWARD One award will be made to the supplier that submits the best proposal that meets all of the counties needs. This will be decided on total points based on responses. ESTIMATED PURCHASES The anticipated spend on this project is $30,000. The County does not guarantee that any minimum amount of services will be purchased. METHOD OF CONTRACTING A Sample Service Order Agreement is provided in the Buyer Attachments page showing the standard terms and conditions. Carefully review the terms and conditions of the Contract. Additional Contract terms related to this procurement, if any, are set out below in the section entitled Term of Contract. TERM OF CONTRACT This contract will be good for the initial purchase and may cover any additional services that may be required for up to 5 years. CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS The County will initiate contract negotiations with the responsive and responsible proposer with the highest scoring proposal. Multnomah County may, at its option, elect to negotiate general contract terms and conditions, services, pricing, implementation schedules, and such other terms as the County determines are in the Countyâs best interest. If negotiations fail to result in a contract, the County reserves the right to terminate the negotiations and initiate contract negotiations with the next highest scoring responsive and responsible proposer. This process may continue until a contract agreement is reached. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS The Supplier awarded a Contract as a result of this RFP will be required to provide at a minimum the insurance outlined in the table below. The type of insurance required will depend on the type of services and or products provided under the contract which will be negotiated during the contract process.
