DescriptionThe State of Oregon, acting by and through the Department of Transportation, through its Driver and Motor Vehicle Services Division, ("Agency", or "ODOT", or "DMV"), is issuing this Request for Proposal for Commercial Driver Licensing (CDL) Third Party Skills Testing. This Request for Proposal is to implement the statutory objectives described in ORS 802.600 and ORS 807.080. Agency will contract with testing businesses to administer Commercial Drivers License (CDL) skills tests on Agency's behalf. In doing so, Agency will help better meet the need for prospective commercial drivers in Oregon and significantly reduce wait times for CDL skills tests. Agency anticipates the award of multiple Contract(s) from this RFP. The initial term of the Contract is anticipated to be 5 years with options to renew up to a cumulative maximum of up to 10 years. Interested parties must "express interest" in this opportunity in order to download the RFP document and receive any addenda updates.
