Metro is seeking multiple vendors to provide repair and preventative maintenance to Metro fleet vehicles. Currently Metro's fleet vehicles consist of 2 electric cars, 10 hybrid cars, 2 regular cars , 8 dump trucks, 56 trucks,19 SUV's, and 15 vans in various sizes. Currently the makes of these fleet vehicles are Ford, Nissan, Dodge, Subaru, Chevy, and Toyota. Tasks include but are not limited to the following items: - Perform manufacturers recommended service interval for current mileage or age. Metro's fleet minimum standard is every 5000 miles or annually whichever comes first. - Frequency of maintenance sooner than an annual service varies by use. PM tasks outlined below are meant to be a baseline service to keep Metro fleet vehicles safe to use, mechanically sound, and clean. - Once service is performed, repairs identified above $1,000.00, must be authorized by Metro fleet after needed services are explained to Metro. Additional services (such as replacements or overhauls) will be billed on a time and materials basis. Bids are to be submitted electronically ONLY to Your submission must be uploaded prior to the Bid Due Date and Time. We strongly recommend that you give yourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before the Bid Due Date and Time to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission. Metro accepts no responsibility for non-receipt and/or delays in receipt caused by transmission and reception problems, equipment failure, or any other similar cause.
